20 PRINCIPLES OF LIFE!

Stop and ask yourself today, "How do I really feel about myself? " Before you answer read these twenty principles.

(1) Never think or speak negatively about yourself; that puts you in disagreement with God.
(2) Meditate on your God-given strengths and learn to encourage yourself, for much of the time nobody else will.

(3) Don't compare yourself to anybody else. You're unique, one of a kind, an original. So don't settle for being a copy.
(4) Focus on your potential, not your limitations. Remember, God lives in you!
(5) Find what you like to do, do well, and strive to do it with excellence.
(6) Have the courage to be different. Be a God pleasure, not a people pleasure .
(7) Learn to handle criticism. Let it develop you instead of discourage you.
(8) Determine your own worth instead of letting others do it for you. They'll short-change you!
(9) Keep your shortcomings in perspective - you're still a work in progress.
(10) Focus daily on your greatest source of confidence - the God Who lives in you !
(11) Be true to who you are. Stop trying to please other people or be someone else. It’s better to be an original version of yourself than an exact duplicate of someone else.
(12) Don’t badmouth other people. If there’s anything you don’t like about someone, say it to him/her in the face – otherwise, don’t say it at all. It’s not nice to do that.
(13) Forgive those who may have done you wrong in the past. “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and realize it was you.” – Lewis B. Smedes

(14) Help other people who are in need. Voluntarism is one outlet. You can also start with your friends and family. You don’t need any reason to help others. Do it because you want to. Share the love with everyone.
(15) Embrace new ideas. Don’t mentally limit yourself; Let your mind be a breeding ground for new ideas.
(16) The only person you can change is yourself. Stop expecting others to behave in a certain way. Rather than demand that others around you change, focus on changing yourself. You’ll be happier and live a more fulfilling life this way.
(17) Embrace change. The only thing that’s constant is change. Change means growth. Rather than resist change, learn to versatile such that you can make the best out of the changes that come. In fact, become an agent of change.
(18) Love yourself. You are the person you have to live with for the rest with your life. Treasure and love yourself.
(19) Love others. Be grateful for all the people around you because they help you to grow. They enrich your life experience. Without them, your life would not have been the same.
(20) Focus on WHAT vs. How. Focus on WHAT you want first, before you think about HOW to do it. Anything is possible, as long as you set your mind, heart and soul to it.

LIONEL MESSI : DON'T COMPARE ME WITH CRISTIANO RONALDO!

Barcelona star Lionel Messi says that he does not want to be compared to Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, or anyone else.

Messi, 28, is the world's best player having picked up the 2015 Ballon d'Orahead of Ronaldo and his Barcelona teammate Neymar.
However, the Argentine is not keen to get involved in the debate over who is the best, and insisted that he prefers to focus on his own game.
"The press looks to compare among other things. All I want is to help my team to grow each season," Messi told Egyptian TV station MBC, in quotes reported by Sport.
"I don't compare myself to Cristiano nor to anyone. I only try to think of me, of my team-mates and win games."
Messi will take on Ronaldo head-to-head in El Clasico next week and the forward claims that trying to win La Liga is always difficult for Barcelona when Real Madrid are around.

"They [Real Madrid] have great players," he added. "They have always had impressive stars and it's one of the best teams in the world.
"They are always a complicated rival and against them, we always find it difficult to beat them in the Spanish league. There is a lot of competition and we try to do it better."

BEYONCE GISELLE KNOWLES!

One of the most recognizable figures in contemporary music, Beyoncé rose to fame as the central member of pop-R&B group Destiny's Child before embarking on a multi-platinum, record-breaking solo career in 2001. Booming record sales, Grammy awards, movie roles, and marriage to rapper/CEO Jay-Z combined to heighten her profile in the 2000s. Billboard named her female artist of the decade, while the RIAA acknowledged that, through 64 gold and platinum certifications, she was the decade's top-selling artist. Once she released her fifth solo album in 2013, it was evident that the singer, songwriter, and dancer wasn't merely an entertainer but a progressive artist as well.

Born in Houston in September 1981, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles began performing at age seven, winning over 30 local competitions for her dancing and vocal abilities. She joined her cousin Kelly Rowland and classmates LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett in forming an adolescent vocal group. Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé's father and Rowland's legal guardian, signed on to be the girls' manager, eventually quitting his full-time job to focus on their efforts. This situation would ultimately lead to the creation of one of the most popular female R&B groups of all time -- Destiny's Child.

Destiny's Child gained momentum throughout the '90s. They appeared on Star Search in 1992 (under the name Girls Tyme) and weathered several lineup changes before signing to Columbia in 1997. Four studio albums later, the group had officially become the best-selling female group of all time, with such smash hits as "Jumpin' Jumpin'," "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Say My Name," and "Survivor" bolstering the young women's momentum despite lawsuits from former members Roberson and Luckett (who contested Mathew Knowles' management, claiming he withheld profits and unjustly favored his daughter and niece). In 2001, Beyoncé, Rowland, and replacement member Michelle Williams allowed themselves a break from the group to pursue individual solo careers. Before landing several movie roles, Beyoncé became the first African-American female artist and second woman ever to win the annual ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award. An appearance in the MTV drama Carmen: A Hip Hopera quickly followed, but it was her role as Foxxy Cleopatra in 2002's Austin Powers in Goldmember that established her as a true Hollywood star.

While her inclusion on the movie's soundtrack failed to chart nationally, Beyoncé's full-length solo debut, 2003's Dangerously in Love, reached multi-platinum status. Featuring collaborations with Sean Paul, Missy Elliott, OutKast's Big Boi, and romantic interest Jay-Z, the album spawned a total of four Top Ten singles and garnered the singer five Grammys. Destiny's Child reconvened the following year to release Destiny Fulfilled; upon completing the resulting tour, the group issued one final album, a greatest-hits compilation entitled #1's, and subsequently disbanded. Beyoncé turned her full attention to her burgeoning solo career. She released B'day in September 2006 and, three months later, turned in an award-winning performance for the movie musical Dreamgirls. The singer then embarked on the Beyoncé Experience concert tour and released a live DVD in November 2007.

The following year proved to be another busy one as Beyoncé landed the role of Etta James in Cadillac Records, a musical biopic that explored the heyday of Chicago's Chess label. Shooting commenced in February 2008, with Beyoncé also serving as co-executive producer. One month before the film's December release, the singer released her third studio album, I Am...Sasha Fierce. The double-disc effort emphasized her two distinct personalities, allowing Beyoncé to explore both mainstream sounds and traditional R&B. Some live releases followed. Released in 2009, I Am...Yours, a CD/DVD set, documented an August 2009 performance at Wynn Las Vegas, while 2010's I Am...World Tour, available in separate audio and video formats, was recorded at London's significantly larger O2 Arena (a few months after the Vegas program). She followed ten Grammy nominations with 2011's 4, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. One of her most energetic and empowering tracks, "Run the World (Girls)," was issued as the lead single, while "Love on Top" eventually won a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance.

Giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter in January 2012 didn't slow her down. Within a few months, she was performing in Atlantic City, and she later appeared at President Barack Obama's second inauguration. Joined by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, she headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show. Life Is But a Dream, a documentary, first aired on HBO in February 2013, and was followed by appearances on albums by Rowland, the-Dream, and Jay-Z. New material, such as "Bow Down" and "Standing on the Sun," trickled out without proper release. Then, on December 13 -- with no preceding announcement -- Beyoncé released a self-titled album with accompanying videos. Her husband and daughter, along with Drake, Frank Ocean, and writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (via a sampled TED talk), made guest appearances. Knowles, assisted by the likes of Hit-Boy, Pharrell, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Miguel, co-wrote and co-produced the majority of the album's material. Like Beyoncé's four previous solo albums, it went to number one, and quickly went platinum in the U.S. Three months after she completed the Mrs. Carter Show world tour, she and Jay-Z embarked on the On the Run tour, which reached the U.S., Canada, and France from June through September 2014. The following February, she was nominated for six Grammy Awards and won three, including Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance, both for "Drunk in Love." Although she didn't release any new material in 2015, she co-wrote and appeared on Naughty Boy's Top Five U.K. pop hit "Runnin' (Lose It All)," and contributed vocals to Coldplay's "Hymn for the Weekend." In February 2016, a new single, "Formation," and its trenchant accompanying video, were released just before her Super Bowl 50 halftime performance. The Formation World Tour was scheduled to begin that April. ~ Andrew Leahey & Andy Kellman, Rovi.

THINGS WILL GET BETTER!

Just think how happy you would be if you lost everything you have right now, and then got it back again.
For all of the people who keep waiting for things to get better -- stop.
Stop waiting. You're losing time, whether you are enjoying this moment or not. This is it. It is all you have, so wake up. Live.
I know people who have spent the past two years overwhelmed by stress and fear, and at the end of it, what do they have to show for it? Two lost years.

These difficult days are demanding far more from us than we've ever been expected to deliver. The daily news will give you a dose of despair because, let's face it: Things aren't looking good. Nobody knows when the economy will settle down, when everybody will go back to work, when people will start spending, when the real estate market will rebound, when our retirement accounts will look like we can actually retire.
Nobody knows any of that.

But, I know this: If I don't find fulfillment in this day as uncertain as it may be it will be lost to me. If I don't find happiness in this day and every day like it, I won't get a do-over.

This is it. I'll be a day older, then a year older, then ten years older, and I will have wasted precious time that I did not need to waste.
No matter how dark your circumstances, life is happening. Do you take time to see how much you have, even as you cope with all that has changed and what you may have lost?
All is not lost. The things that have changed have hit our core feelings about security, self-worth and the future. But there is much more to this moment of chaos than crisis. This is a time to step out of the worry loop and make the choice to appreciate your health, family, friendship and spirituality those things that matter most of all. You may be experiencing real agony because you have lost a job, a home and a vision of what your life and what it was supposed to be. But, when all is lost, you still have the present moment.

THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT BARACK OBAMA!

President Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States.
He was born on August 4th, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a mother from Kansas, Stanley Ann Dunham, and a father from Kenya, Barack Obama Sr. He was also raised by his grandfather, who served in Patton’s army, and his grandmother, who worked her way up from the secretarial pool to become vice president at a local bank.
He worked his way through school—Occidental College in Los Angeles, Columbia University in New York, and later, Harvard Law School—with the help of scholarship money and student loans.

In 1985, Barack Obama moved to Chicago, where he got his start in community organizing on the city’s South Side, working to help rebuild communities devastated by the closure of local steel plants.
The President called that time in his life "the best education I ever had, better than anything I got at Harvard Law School." He has credited that experience as crucial to finding his identity—something that shaped his path to the White House.
Barack Obama was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996. During his time in Springfield, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004, he reached across the aisle to pass the farthest-reaching lobbying reform in a generation, lock up the world’s most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by tracking federal spending online.
Barack Obama was sworn in as president on January 20th, 2009, in the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, at a time when our economy was losing 800,000 jobs a month. He acted immediately to get our economy back on track. Since then, the private sector has added back more than 10 million jobs during the longest, uninterrupted period of job growth in our nation’s history.

In his first term, the President cut taxes for every American worker—putting $3,600 back in the pockets of the typical family. He passed historic Wall Street reform to make sure taxpayers never again have to bail out big banks. He passed the landmark Affordable Care Act, helping to put quality and affordable health care within reach for millions of Americans. He ended the war in Iraq and is working to responsibly end the war in Afghanistan.
He’s the first sitting president to stand up for marriage equality, and is fighting for equal pay and a woman’s right to make her own health decisions. He’s made a college education more affordable for millions of students and their families. And he believes it’s time for a comprehensive solution to fix our broken immigration system.
The President believes an economy that's built to last starts by growing and strengthening the middle class—that’s why he has a plan to create jobs and restore economic security to working families. He’s been driven by the basic values that make our country great: America prospers when we’re all in it together, when hard work pays off and responsibility is rewarded, and when everyone—from Main Street to Wall Street—does their fair share and plays by the same rules.

INSPIRING A GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT

The President's legacy as a grassroots organizer inspired millions. Organizing for Action is proud to be built from the ground up by people who believe that real, lasting change only happens when you organize.

Sometimes you have to show that you are strong for the people who love you because they can’t do anything without you, but knowing you are there to support them they will try…

just so they don’t let you down.

Brussels attacks: 'Two brothers' behind airport suicide bombings!

Belgium under attack

Two suicide bombers who attacked the international airport in Brussels have been named by Belgian media as the brothers Khalid and Brahim el-Bakraoui.
The RTBF broadcaster said the pair were known to police. A third man pictured with them at the airport is still being sought.
Twin explosions at the airport and another at a metro station on Tuesday left about 34 dead and 250 wounded.
Belgium is observing three days of national mourning.
So-called Islamic State (IS) has said it was behind the attacks and warned that more would follow.
A minute's silence for the victims will be held at midday (11:00 GMT).
RTBF said the brothers were known to police and had criminal records.
The broadcaster said that Khalid el-Bakraoui had used a false name to rent the flat in the Forest area of the Belgian capital where police killed a gunman in a shootout last week.

It was during that raid that police found a fingerprint of Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the Paris terror attacks of 13 November.
He was arrested in a raid in Brussels last Friday and is due to appear before a pre-trial court on Wednesday.
Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure said Khalid el-Bakraoui was being sought for terrorist activities while Ibrahim was reportedly on the run after a sentence for other criminal activity.

La Derniere Heure also said that the third man in the airport CCTV image of the three men handed out by police is Najim Laachraoui.
Laachraoui was named earlier in the week by police as a wanted accomplice of Abdeslam.
'Black day'
The three men were seen pushing trolleys carrying suspected bombs at Zaventem airport just before the blasts at a check-in hall.
Two of the men, believed to be the brothers, were wearing black gloves on their left hands, possibly hiding a suicide detonation device.

They were believed to have died in the attack. The third man was wearing no glove.
The airport explosions happened in quick succession shortly after 08:00 local time (07:00 GMT), killing about 14 people.
A third bomb was found and destroyed in a controlled detonation.

About an hour later another explosion ripped through a train at the Maelbeek metro station in the Belgian capital, killing about 20 people.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said Tuesday was "a day of tragedy, a black day".
The country has raised its terrorism alert to the highest level.

HERE'S WHY BARACK OBAMA WILL BE MISSED AT THE WHITEHOUSE!

President Barack Obama has been in office for two terms. It will soon be time for him to leave the White House. His presidency has been full of ups and downs. There have been some rough patches, but he kept on pushing through.  “The future rewards those who press on,” he once said. “I don’t have time to feel sorry for myself. I don’t have time to complain. I’m going to press on.” He will surely be missed, especially for the following 10 reasons.

1. His election was historic
Half a century ago: people of color in the U.S. were still fighting to be allowed in the same schools and use the same water fountains as white Americans. There are still many racial issues, but the fact that the nation elected a black president shows a great deal of progress. Just by witnessing Obama’s election and the presidency, allowed you to be part of an important moment in history.

2. His relationship with Michelle is adorable
Barack clearly is not threatened by a powerful woman. The two have been married for about two decades. The couple supports each other and is not afraid to joke around in public.

3. He has strengthened US-Africa ties
In February, Obama signed the Electrify Africa Act into law, which has the potential to bring power to at least 50 million people living in sub-Saharan Africa by 2020. And during his presidential visit to Kenya, he brought attention to several issues such as gender equality, ethnic divides, discrimination, and corruption. Despite being critical, he was very positive.
“I’m here as a friend who wants Kenya to succeed,” he said.

4. He has a good sense of humor
Being in charge of the most powerful country in the world is a serious job, but Obama still managed to have fun during his presidency. Some of his funniest moments were when he went on the Jimmy Kimmel show and read mean tweets about himself, or when he poked fun at those doubting that he was born in the U.S. by playing a clip of The Lion King.

5. He stands up for himself
Obama has had to deal with a lot of hatred and backlash from other politicians. Yet, he was never intimidated. Who can forget the moment when some members of Congress were making fun of him by applauding when he said:
“I have no more campaigns to run.”  He replied with a smirk, “I know because I won both of them.”

6. He is not afraid to share his opinion
Even when it is not popular, he never shied away from expressing his thoughts. He shared his feelings about race and police brutality – a hot issue in the states right now.

“The African-American community is not just making this up,” he said. “It’s not something that’s just being politicized. It’s real. We as a society, particularly given our history, have to take this seriously.”
He also called for stronger gun control laws in the country.

7. He had a great first lady on his side
Michelle Obama is not the type of woman who stays in the background. She is the most educated first lady so far, and she has initiated several of her own initiatives. Some of the efforts included advocating for gender equality, fighting obesity in America, helping young girls go to school.

8. He brought hope back
In 2009, when he was first sworn in, the U.S. was in a bad state. The economy was going through a bad recession and the unemployment rate was quite high. The unemployment rate recently fell below 5% for the first time since 2008.

9. He is a dedicated father
When their father was elected president, Malia was 10 years old and Sasha was 7. Now, Malia is college-bound. Obama shared that he nearly cried when she started her last year of high school. He has nothing but praise for his children.
“The truth is the girls are wonderful.  You know they work hard, they work a lot harder than I ever did when I was a kid.”
He announced that his family will remain in Washington D.C. after his term ends so that Sasha can finish school.
“Transferring someone in the middle of high school — tough,” he noted.
